THE December meeting was presided over by Mrs C Prudom.
A new member, Mrs A Robinson, was welcomed. Birthday cards were presented to Mrs Johnson and Mrs A Prudom.
A poppy wreath had been placed at the Warm Memorial on behalf of the WI by Mrs M Welford.
The festive dominoes drive held in November raised £146.
The group carol service held at the chapel was well attended and the collection donated to chapel funds.
A letter of thanks was received from Mrs Southgate.
Final arrangements were made for the Christmas dinner.
The evening continued with a talk by Mrs SCB Allan who spoke about hypnosis, tracing its history and benefits. There were many questions from members. She was thanked by Mrs Johnson.
The raffle was won by Mrs Clemmitt and the competition for six chocolate truffles by Mrs A Linlott.
