ONLY 11 members attended the AGM held this month.
There was no election for president, Veronica Foster agreed to serve another term. Sylvia Bowditch retired from the committee; there are three new committee members, Eva Harris, Dorothy Smith and Margaret Welford. The overall winner of the monthly competitions was Margaret Musgrave, second was Gill Holt, joint third were Eva Harris and Joyce Goodall.
The report of the autumn council meeting was given by Veronica Foster.
Final arrangements were made for the group concert to be held in Staithes Village Hall on Thursday 22 October.
Members rounded off the evening with two quizzes.
The next meeting is on Monday 9 November when the speakers will be Ken and Christel Smith, with a cookery demonstration. Non members always welcome.
