FIT Tots in the Memorial Hall, 1.30-2.30pm, on Wednesdays, 17-31 March, £2.50 per child, come to three sessions and fourth is free.
FIZZIFITS for children in reception year one and year two, 3.45-4.45pm, in the Memorial Hall, on Mondays, 15-29 March, £2.50 per child.
THE Fox and Hounds at Dalehouse has a quiz every Thursday at 9.30pm, with proceeds to Dalewood House, all welcome.
THE Coble Courier minibus will be going to Redcar for a shopping trip on Thursdays 18 March and 1-15 April. The bus leaves Staithes at 9am and Redcar at 2pm dropping off at the door with shopping, cost £4.50. To book contact Yvonne on 840876 or Penny on 841382.
THERE will be a meeting of the Staithes Fisheries at St Peter's Centre at 7pm on Wednesday 10 March.

CLUBS
STAITHES Toddler Group has re-opened on Thursdays, 1.30-3pm, in Staithes Village Hall. All babies and children 0-4 years and their parents and carers are very welcome to come to play and meet others. Cost £1.50 including light refreshments. This group is supported by Whitby and District Children's Centre.
KEEP fit on Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the village hall. Loose clothes and soft shoes. All welcome.
WATERCOLOUR class 2-4pm on Wednesdays. Ring 897803 for details.
PILATES in the village hall on Wednesdays is now at 3.45pm. Please note the new time. First session free, all welcome.
THE Flockton Fryer will be at Staithes Co-op on Tuesdays, 5.15-6.30pm.
STAITHES branch of the Whitby and District Credit Union is open for business in the Gateway Centre in the car-park, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. The Credit Union offers a simple way to save and can also provide loans. The branch is thriving but new members are always needed. The Gateway Centre staff are most welcoming and friendly; you can learn more about this saving scheme if you pop into the centre.
THE Tuesday Thing is a club for young people aged 11 and over and is held in St Peter's Centre, Church Street, Staithes from 6-8pm on Tuesday nights. A mini-bus collects from Runswick Bay, Hinderwell, Port Mulgrave and Staithes at the top of the village and takes young people home afterwards. The group needs equipment ie, a football table and other indoor games, however there will be lots going on. For details ring Kate on 840815.
