If it becomes illegal as a visitor to drive to the bottom of Staithes either to the post office store area, or to the harbour to turn around, it will prevent people like my late mother who came from the area but was in a wheelchair being able to briefly enjoy her annual sight of a place which was very dear to her heart.
This is another case of taking a sledge hammer to crack a nut.

If there are motorists parking illegally, clamp down on them, not the elderly or disabled who cannot view the village without driving down.

It is totally impossible to push a wheelchair up and down the steep hill from the top car park.
