THE 139th Hinderwell Horse and Agricultural Annual Show was hailed a success.
Though the day began cloudy and overcast, the rain failed to arrive and eventually the sun broke out over the showfield.
The main attraction was the horse show which was held throughout the day. There were horses of all sizes and riders of all ages that took part. The field, separated into four parts, played host to different displays with numerous prizes to be handed out.
Seton and Oakridge primary schools once again made a great effort to get involved with the local show. All entries received were of the highest standard, with an outstanding effort and achievement from Megan Lilley, gaining a staggering 30 points, to become the overall winner.
Hinderwell and District Sports and Youth Centre kindly allowed use use of the cricket field. This was the first year the event was held and all the children taking part had a fantastic time.
