She has found more than 70 old photographs taken in February and March 1947 by her father Arthur Barratt.
She says Arthur was one of the founder members of Whitby Photographic Club and loved to be out and about taking pictures.
Mrs Hallam (nee Barratt) said she is unsure as to some of the locations in the pictures but hopes Whitby Gazette readers will know and recognise some of the people featured in the images.
