THIS week's nostalgia trip takes us to the coastal village of Sandsend.
After last week's photos showing Whitby more than half a century ago, these pictures of Sandsend go considerably further back in time.
They show people on the beach watching the boats out at sea while others take a casual amble up the high street. The photos were emailed by Whitby Museum.
