WITH Staithes' North Riding Challenge cup fixture against Coulby Newham off for a fourth successive week and the Lingdale v Lealholm fixture off due to a waterlogged pitch there was only one game played in the Eskvale and Cleveland Football League on Saturday.

THIS game had to switched to Goldsborough due to the North Skelton pitch being waterlogged.

Goldsborough continued their good form with a second victory in successive weeks. Carl Flatters was on form as he netted four goals in this game and took the accolade for man of the match.

Boro’s other goals were scored by Dan Metcalf, John Foster and Sam Dowie with Bull’s netting an own goal. Not all was lost for the North Skelton side with Chris Dixon putting in a great performance and Keenan and Brunton scoring the goals.
