Finals and a presentation night was held at The White Hart Inn, Mickleby.
After playing the semi-finals of the individual and pairs cups and the play off for highest start and least number darts at 501, league trophies were presented by Penny Camp
bell representing Saint Catherine’s Hospice.
A cheque for £1,000 was then presented to Penny on behalf of the Darts League by Clare Attridge, landlady of The White Hart Inn.
Penny thanked the darts league for the tremendous amount of money raised throughout the season and explained how the money would help the patients of the hospice.
The evening continued with the finals of the individual and pairs cup.
Remaining trophies were presented by landlady Clare Attridge.
The league secretary expressed thanks to Clare Attridge for her hospitality and to everyone who had helped on the evening and throughout the season, especially Staithes Athletic Club committee members for their continued support, with special thanks to Mr G Major jnr.
The evening concluded with a buffet supper.
